New Passport Application Process
π± Pre-Enrolment is Online First
All passport applications begin online at www.passcam.cm. You must complete pre-enrolment and book an appointment before visiting the High Commission.
Step 1 — Online Pre-Enrolment
- Connect to www.passcam.cm to complete the pre-enrolment application
- Pay the passport application fees by credit/debit card or Mobile Money
- Book an appointment for physical enrolment at the High Commission in London

An appointment can only be changed once and is valid for a maximum of ten (10) days, after which it is cancelled. For pre-enrolment or payment issues, contact DGSN directly at contact@passcam.cm.
Step 2 — Physical Enrolment at the High Commission
- Attend only on the day and time of your booked appointment
- Bring a printed pre-enrolment form with a visible barcode and PO number
- All supporting documents will be cross-checked against originals
- Your photo, fingerprints, and signature will be collected
- A passport application receipt will be issued on completion
Step 3 — Decision & Production
You will receive an email or text notification from the Delegate of National Security regarding your application decision. Passports are produced by the DGSN within 48 hours and will generally be available for collection in London within two (2) weeks from the date of production.
Step 4 — Passport Collection
- You will be contacted by text or email when your passport is ready
- Collect on presentation of your original application receipt and proof of ID
- Passports can be collected by proxy with an original receipt and a certified letter of authorisation
π Collection Times
Monday to Wednesday, 16:00 – 16:30 exclusively. Service users will not be received outside of this collection window.
Application Requirements
The validity of Cameroonian passports cannot be extended. Apply for renewal at least six (6) months before expiry.
A. General Requirements
- Pre-enrolment application form (proof of payment receipt)
- Valid consular card or consular card application
- Certified copy of birth certificate or birth certificate extract
- Previous passport and photocopy of data page(s)
- Certified photocopy of residence permit/entry visa or e-visa with share code (UK applicants only)
- Certified copy of valid Cameroon National ID (CNI) or valid Consular Card
- Certified copy of marriage certificate (for married women opting for a name change)
- Proof of profession or social status (employment contract, student ID, letter from employer)
- Police report or certified declaration of loss/theft, if applicable
- Certified parental or legal guardian authorisation for all applicants under 21 years of age
B. Child's First Passport
- Pre-enrolment application form (proof of payment receipt)
- Certified transcribed Cameroon Birth Certificate
- Certified copies of father and/or mother passports
- Certified copy of resident permit, Cameroon national ID, or consular card
- Certified parental or legal guardian authorisation
Passport Fees
Stamp fees for the biometric passport are payable only to the DGSN online at passcam.cm during pre-enrolment. The only fee charged at the High Commission is for certification of supporting documents: Β£20.00 per document. The High Commission only accepts cash or postal orders.
