🌐 All Visa Applications are Online

All applications are submitted exclusively via the official e-visa platform at www.evisacam.cm. The High Commission does not accept walk-in visa applications.

Visas by Post

Visa applications sent by post will only be accepted and processed if all required documents are enclosed. Where a passport will not be retrieved in person, a pre-paid self-addressed envelope must be provided.

Document Requirements

Required Documents by Visa Type

Transit Visa

  1. Passport or travel document valid for at least 6 months
  2. Airline ticket valid to the final destination, or other proof of onward travel
  3. Visa or authorisation to enter the country of destination
  4. International vaccination certificate

Short-Stay Visa (up to 180 days)

  1. Passport valid for at least 6 months
  2. Return plane ticket or circular transport ticket
  3. International vaccination certificates
  4. Proof of the purpose of visit and sufficient means of subsistence
  5. Certificate of accommodation endorsed by the local mayor, or firm hotel reservation
  6. Mission order, if applicable
  7. Certificate of the applicant's address
  8. Proof of the applicant's profession

Long-Stay Visa (up to 360 days)

  1. Passport valid for more than 6 months
  2. Plane ticket or valid travel document to Cameroon
  3. International vaccination certificates
  4. Repatriation guarantee
  5. Certificate of enrolment for students, or training certificate for trainees
  6. Employment contract approved by the Minister in charge of employment (for those wishing to work)
  7. Authorisation to exercise a liberal profession or commercial activity, where required
  8. Document justifying marital or parental relationship, where applicable
  9. Certificate of domicile for the applicant
