FAQ – E-Visa Application Procedures

A step-by-step guide to the Cameroon e-visa process, from creating an account to biometric enrolment and visa collection.

The Process

Four Steps to Your Cameroon Visa

  1. Online pre-registration — Open an account at www.evisacam.cm and complete the online application form.
  2. Payment of fees online — Pay by credit card or mobile payment. You will receive a proof of payment by email. The application is only effective after payment.
  3. Processing — Processed by the relevant Diplomatic Mission. If approved, an online visa authorisation with a QR Code is sent by email within 72 hours (24 hours for express). This document allows travel to Cameroon, where the visa will be printed at the airport.
  4. Biometric enrolment & visa printing — At the entry border post or at the High Commission in London. The visa sticker is then affixed to your passport.

πŸ’‘ London Residents

If you wish to print your visa before travelling, submit your passport along with confirmation of your e-visa (with QR Code) to the High Commission. A visa vignette will be affixed to your passport. Submission: Monday – Thursday, 10:00 – 13:00. Collection: 16:00 – 16:30 exclusively.
